Resources Recommended
minimum equipment requirements. There are two
main requirements for taking the images required for the tour: A camera
and the "One Shot" lens. You will of course need a tripod. (you do not
need anything too fancy, as long as it can tilt and hold the camera so
the lens can point vertically.)
There are 2 or 3 makes of lens, but the one we use and is we feel the
best
value for money is the 0-360. If you click on the banner on your right
then you will be taken to the sellers website. They can ship the lens
Worldwide and do provide a prompt support service if you have any
questions. They also provide a software package but it does require you
to have a hosting account with an Internet provider and therefore the
simplicity of the system that we are offering will be lost.
A list of suitable cameras to use with this lens follows. We
successfully use the Canon S3iS, it has all the features required and
is available at a very reasonable price. If you click here we have
listed all of the "Buy Now" cameras of a suitable quality that are
available on eBay, which seems to be the best place to get a camera if
required. Most of the sellers will again ship Worldwide. If you already
have a camera and it does not appear on the list, then check with 0-360
and see if it is suitable.
